We continually update our books—a benefit of publishing online—and with some recent development I thought it was worth giving an update on the status of our titles. Read on if you’ve downloaded one of our books and want to know what’s in the pipeline, or are just curious to learn about what we publish.
Essential Slick for Slick 2.1 is complete and an Early Access version covering Slick 3 available. The Early Access version currently covers chapters 1, 2 and 6. We are planning to add chapters 3 and 4 by the end of September, and Chapter 5 by the end of October.
We’ve developed a tiny library called slickless that enables use of shapeless HLists in Slick. This post explains what that means, how you can use it, and what we had to do to make this possible.
